The following personal narratives, poems, essays and other pieces of writing were submitted to this website by local LGBTQ+ youth, and were inspired by the following prompts:

  • What advice do you have for parents who want to support LGBTQ+ youth?
  • How have your family experiences influenced your mental health?
  • What has your family’s journey been like?

To solicit work from local LGBTQ+ youth, we held a LGBTQ+ Youth Writing Contest.
